UKIPT Edinburgh kicks off tonight

The PokerStars UK and Ireland poker tour has gone up north this week as poker players, poets and puppets will come together for a week of fun and degeneracy.
The poker week kicks off with the internet kids favorite event, the £100 6max. Tomorrow see's day 1a of the £550 main event that last year attracted Poker Farm's finest Jake Cody & Jesse May.
Although there will be degenerate qualifiers from around Europe the main talk in Edinburgh this week is the famous annual Edinburgh festival. Players visiting the Scottish capital for the first time are in for a treat with a great carnival atmosphere spread across the city.
One negative of the festival is that accommodation prices go up significantly and with circuit pro's (nits) unwilling to pay £1000 for a week's accommodation and a £550 comp there is speculation that numbers this year may drop from last year's event that was taken down by UKIPT "run gooder" Nick Abou Risk.
With the addition of the £50 turbo's (up to 4 every day!) there are now 20 tournaments for players to try and get a their hands on a Hendon Mob flag.
We will be keeping you up to date all week!
