180 players stumped up €3500 for day 1 of the EPT Snowfest in the Alpine Palace Card Casino, Hinterglem, Austria.

It was friend of the Poker Farm Martins Adeniya who amassed the biggest stack come the end of play. Sitting with 182,500 chips and a good 50k more chips than his closest rival Martins looks set for a good run. GL Martins!

unlucky martins, good run!

next time your aa will hold against ak and kk...... filth

A flurry of action involving a 3-bet from Jack Powell, a 4-bet all-in from Hans Erlandsson and then a 5-bet all-in from Martins Adeniya and Powell then called!

Powell: {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}
Erlandsson: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
Adeniya: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}

Adeniya had both the other two covered but the board came {j-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{10-Spades}{q-Spades}{7-Hearts} as Erlandsson made both the straight and the flush, jumping from his chair to celebrate, winning a 750,000 chip pot

Powell was eliminated and Adeniya dropped to 535,000.
