Time off, now I'm back...

So after some personal time off, I'm back in the game today.I just played a 5 hour session where I mixed
some HU where I 3tabled some reg on stars.It started out exciting and even though I hadnt been in the zone
to start with, I rather quickly figured out where my opponent was at, most of the time.He ended the match
after just 1k hands and 2 hours of match.I ended up a few buy ins on em which is besides the point,cos the
session was mostly about feeling everything out again.

Most importantly though, I enjoyed playing again and feel that hunger to work even harder this time around,  in order
to get my game to the next level, which has been out there for quite some time and was missing a last
bit of commitment on my part.I think that those lil' breaks are necessary if u wanna make it in the long haul, cos we
all of u, probably know that feeling of mental exhaustion after months at the time of grinding non stop, especially
if u hadnt been doing as well as u hoped for.I really felt fresh today and hopefully I can take this new found
excitement further along.

As for strategy, I havent had the chance to explore some of the new plays today, I've been reflecting on in the last couple of weeks.
I will post some hands in my next post which will hopefully be at the end of this week as some kind of recap of the whole week.

I think as a theme for my next post I ll try to find as many examples as  I can for spots to turn made hands into bluffs, as it has been
something I've been really trying to incorporate in my game.

I wont get into too much detail about this hand, lets just say his turn sizing wasnt ever gonna be a strong hand.I was considering a min 3bet on the turn
but figured i could donk some good rivers or check raise allin, unimproved.He was raising quite a bit of donks so he definitely would have raised
lot of strong hands on that flop.I lead the river really small , again, mainly to induce still thinking his range is mainly made bluffs.I think thi sizing
can be inducing.




this reg was quite loose and was calling every single of my 3bets oop and IP , running at about 34 28 .this was probably the 5th 3bet on my part.

some quick thoughts on it are that I thought he was gonna 4bet alot of his big hands pre as it wouild like he s frustrated, it would have been a good
spot for em to do so, especially this deep where ppl tend to 4bet bluff more.The only hand i was worried about here was jj maybe 10s although im quite
sure he just calls those on the flop too and doesnt raise any of em.Us being deep I wont have a lot of 6x in my range , so I dont even think he will
have that many hands he d check he raised for value here, cos its a basically a blank.On the river, I wasnt excited about facing another bet , but considering
all I just mentionned above I thought I had to make the call.Its just so hard for him to have anything besides an overpair which he d most likely 4bet pre for value
given the agressive dynamic.¨

ehm this one was ok i thought, i wasnt happy about the fact that he snap called the river and never considered what my range for betting turn river even looked
like.If u look at it from a pure range perspective , im gonna have alot of hands like j10 a10 aq aj and then obv the flopped monsters, and some smaller fds.
I dont need to turn k x into a bluff in this spot as it wuill be good most of the times, so there really isnt much air in my range left besides some qx i turned into
a bluff or some smaller flush draws i could have had.Im betting turn river here to get em off qx and k x , which he should fold by the river.
I kinda messed up the turn size cos it left me with a smallish overbet on the river.Other than that I' m quite happy with my play here.They cant always fold i guess.^^



well enough rambling for the day , I'm off to chill a lil' bit and may play another session tonight.
