December Donks are coming

Well thank god November is over. In truth is was a terrible month in terms of bottom-line, but on the plus side I felt I played well and had some shots in the bigger games gone better it could have been all smiles.

This month I decided to drop and get some confidence back at 200nl, got the confidence back but im now running close to 40buyins under ev in the last 3 weeks. Its marginally distressing because as we all know, variance never “owes” you anything, but I’m very hopeful. I won a small tournament last night to help out the p+l, outplaying fellow farmer Elliot “conquistador”  Peterman. Between you and me I think he played a bit weaktight hu J.

So December donks are coming, Christmas has always been one of the very best times of year to grind online. Iv often thought that a true grinder could probably make enough over December/January to pretty much take the rest of the year off. The games are always really loose with amazing action, new years eve being particularly epic. A couple of years ago I had a quiet new years in with my ex-missus, who went to bed just after midnight. I remember grinding till 10am the next day on what was previously the stand-alone betfair skin and winning 25 buyins at 500nl. The action was incredible. Here’s hoping the farmers will be able to relieve some bonus monies in the next few weeks.

I will be putting up a few hands on here from now on. The first is a pretty tricky hand, I had a plan when I raised the river (to snap) but his timing was so fast I bottled it. 2+2 says the same, especially someone who’s posts I really rate.
