San Remo final table set

This year's EPT San Remo was down a little on numbers from last year, generating 987 entries. Not bad at all considering the situation with online poker in the US. Poker is obviously booming in Italy and San Remo has established itself as the second biggest stop on the EPT behind the grand final. All eyes are set on the final table which starts later today – Chip leader is Rupert Elder, a British 24 yr old Warwick University graduate. Hot on his heels is Max ‘HotKarlMC’ Heinzelmann, a 20 yr old German tournament pro who comes into this final table fresh off the back of a second place finish in EPT Berlin, good for €500,000. The final will be streamed live on www.eptlive.com, hosted by Pokerstars. Can a Brit take down San Remo for the second year running?
