EPT Is Back

The EPT is back! For the 8th consecutive year, PokerStars have set up a series that dwarves any other Poker schedule in Europe.
Season 8 starts today in Tallinn and with the WSOP over and players either wanting to continue their WSOP success or get over a bad series and out of makeup we are expecting a huge field.
John Duthies "idea" 9 years ago has really transformed into a moment of genius from the spewy Brit. Over the past 8 years we have seen over almost 9000 players participating in Main Events generating a combined prize pool of over €50 million.
Although Tallinn may not be Madrid (last year 700 participants - €6.7 million prize pool) or The "PokerStars Carribbean Adventure" (1500 players - $15 million prize pool) the Estonian Capital is a great and unique place for any poker player to play or visit.
Voted EU Cultural Capital in 2011, its historic city centre is also a UNESCO world cultural heritage site. Several hundred years ago, the city was an important Hanseatic hub, today it's known for its large churches and historic merchants' houses, oh yeah and more importantly.... The cheap pints!
Last year over 400 players turned out for the €4,000 + €250, main event that is held in the gorgeous Swissotel. However now in its second year on the tour we are expecting bigger numbers. It is not confirmed whether or not any Poker Farmer's will be in attendance but French turned British (because he loves Sausage and Chips not for any financial reasons) pro Bertrand "Elky" Grospellier who leads the EPT rankings will be in attendance.
Full Tilt's annual series "The FTP Series Espana" is supposed to be hosting leg 3 of the tour on August 19th, however with British players booking flights and hotels to the venue in Torrequebrada, support are unsurprisingly ignoring all emails and this could be something to look out for in the next couple of weeks.
Why not join EPT Deauville winner Jake Cody at an event this year??
